| In 1997, a winter storm warning put a damper on
attendance at the Halloween Party & costume contest. A few hearty
souls braved the weather, however. It was snowing just a few flakes
when the party started. By the time the festivities were over, the snow
was so deep the roads were nearly impassable. The next day, Denver was
closed down with 22" of snow! How's that for a "Trick or Treat?" |
