Each year, Qwest volunteers host an Easter Egg hunt for visually impaired children. The fun includes hunting for Easter eggs that beep so the blind children can find them, playing T-ball (the balls also beep), a visit from the Easter Bunny, and of course, meeting some very special dogs--our Guide Puppies! What a wonderful way to introduce these kids to the prospect of using a Guide Dog for mobility when they are old enough while socializing our pups with some wonderful youngsters. Plus, it's just a lot of fun! Afterwards, volunteers & raiser enjoy a thank you breakfast.
