EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

SEPTEMBER 2004 - CUB SCOUT PACK 626
	On September 16, 2004, HPWT members were invited to be presenters at a Club Scout Pack 626's meeting. The program included several kinds of canine helpers. In addition to our Guide Dog puppies, K-9 Police officers and pet dog trainers also presented information. The pack members rotated between each group for fifteen minute talks.

Andrea and Emmett, and Carmen and Bayla speak to the group, Explaining why we raise Guide Dogs for the Blind and the three areas puppy raisers teach-- House Manners, Socialization in Public, and Obedience Commands.

The scouts were interested and asked lots of great questions.	Carmen and Bayla demonstrated obedience commands, including "sit."

Moms and Dads were interested too!	Emmett was just as interested in the kids as they are in him!
